E-Cigarette

If you are a smoker you know it is getting harder every day to satisfy your habit. There is the resentment of those around you having to experience the smoke with you every time you light up and there is the smell of stale tobacco in your clothes and hair that gives away to anyone you come in contact with that you’re a smoker. Electronic cigarettes sometimes called ‘e-cigarettes’ are a substitute to smoke tobacco products. This product is actually a device that is powered by a battery that allows you to inhale doses of nicotine in a vaporized liquid solution instead of the ‘hit and miss’ action of inhaling smoke. This does not mean you will not have the experience of savoring the taste and flavor you have become accustom to enjoy. When you use an Electronic Cigarette you will inhale on one end just as you have with your usual cigarette, but in this case it is actually a tiny disposable plastic receptacle that is fastened to the tube (end portion). Inside this small piece of plastic is an absorbent material. It is this material that is moistened with the flavored liquid solution of nicotine. Commonly referred to as a cartridge this plastic receptacle can be either refilled by with the liquid by the person smoking or replaced with another pre-filled cartridge.

The liquid you will be inhaling through the mouthpiece is vaporized by the heating element also called the ‘atomizer’. You will not even be aware of the heating element as electronic cigarettes use a lithium-ion rechargeable battery to power it. The life of the battery depends on its size and type and of course how often you use the ‘e-cigarette’. You can also use a battery charger if those rechargeable batteries are available.

The nice thing about the electronic cigarette is that looks and works very much the same as the cigarette you have enjoyed for years even though it is a piece of cutting edge technology. There’s nothing complex or complicated about using this product as you might have experienced with other cigarette replacement devices. The mouth piece looks just like the butt end of a real cigarette and all you need to do is draw air through it to trigger a switch which sends you the nicotine and tobacco flavoring your craving. The biggest difference is there is no tar, carcinogens, second hand smoke, stained teeth or the worry of starting a fire. Best of all you don’t have to stand outside a building in the heat or cold to smoke. There are no need ashtrays or fear of a bad odor. You have the convenience of using the electronic cigarette anywhere you wish.
